About the Role
Emirates Group IT seeks a Technical Product Owner to lead product engineering teams for the dnata portfolio. You will own backlogs, define story content, and partner with business counterparts to deliver technology products.

- Be responsible for story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story sign off across team backlogs.
- Ensure Technical Debt and Non functional requirements are captured, refined, and prioritised across all sprints.
- Cover Resource Management for the dnata portfolio (resource planning, rostering, scheduling etc).
- Capture additional BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities and incorporate them into team backlogs.
- Prepare contribution to PI demo in conjunction with other applicable Product Owners.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries.
- Attend and contribute to key Product Management meetings, in particular PI Planning.
- Define metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritised work.
- Participate in establishing and growing a community of Product Owners.
- Contribute to the Product Management Communities and their continual evolution.
- Work with team(s) to identify and capture team driven innovation ideas.
Requirements
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 2+ years of practical experience working as a Product Owner/Manager
- Experience in operational resource management environment
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile framework
- Domain experience in rostering, scheduling, or allocation in aviation/logistics
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified

Qualification
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 2+ years of practical experience working as a Product Owner/Manager or experience within an operational resource management environment.
- Demonstrated technical or domain expertise.
- Strong and concise communicator at peer, line, and stakeholder levels.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and team members.
- Appetite for building and identifying value, with a customer centric mind set.
- Domain experience in rostering, scheduling, or allocation ideally in aviation/logistics is highly advantageous.
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified is advantageous.
- Well versed with the tools for the Product Management aspects of software delivery.
