Technical Product Owner - Airline Engineer, MRO & Digital Aircraft.

Job Purpose

Product Ownership Responsibilities

• Define story content, acceptance criteria, and end-story sign-off across team backlogs.
• Ensure backlogs are prepared, frequently refined, and prioritized with other team backlogs.
• Capture and prioritize technical debt, non-functional requirements, business-as-usual work, ceremonies, and spikes.
• Prepare contributions to program increment demonstrations and participate in program increment planning.
• Maintain feature quality and integrity and identify risks and dependencies for the Product Portfolio backlog.
• Define success and performance metrics for prioritized work.
• Build the Product Owner community and contribute to improved product management practices.
• Identify team-driven innovation ideas and consolidate them for review by the Technical Product Manager community.

Qualifications

• Degree or honours qualification equivalent to 12+3 years of education.
• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology or a related area.
• Background in Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, or e-Commerce, or an industry certification combined with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Global Product training and certification such as CSPO, SAFe, or PSPO.
• At least 2 years of practical experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a team-facing capacity.
• Experience in a Scaled Agile framework across multiple initiatives is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrated technical or domain expertise and awareness of regulatory changes in the relevant technical area.
• Strong concise communication, relationship-building, and customer-centric value identification skills.
