Role Overview
A leading oilfield services organization is seeking an Operations and Technical Engineer for its UAE-based team.
The role owns a specific client’s operation and combines well testing execution, technical assurance, client relationships and supervisory coverage.
The position supports onshore and offshore UAE operations and is rotational.
Responsibilities
- Maintain operational and technical proficiency in well testing services to meet client requirements.
- Develop client location strategies and targeted sales plans with the Section Manager.
- Analyze revenue, equipment, personnel and HSE objectives and take corrective action.
- Maintain assigned client relationships and travel to job sites to audit processes.
- Design, execute and evaluate jobs while delivering high-quality service.
- Provide supervisory or management coverage for people, equipment and inventory when required.
- Present technical and commercial solutions, support tenders and gather competitor intelligence.
- Manage assigned client receivables and DSO, and cover Service Leader duties during rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science.
- Two years of prior experience as a Field Engineer III.
- Completion of QHSE training requirements.
- Fluent English with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability, a self-starter approach and a customer-centric mindset.
Workplace and Schedule
- The role is based in the UAE and covers onshore and offshore operations.
- Regular travel to job sites is required, and the role operates on a rotational basis.
