Scaffolding Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scaffolding operations across oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial, infrastructure, and construction projects.
• Manage operational, commercial, and financial performance, including revenue, costs, utilization, and profitability.
• Optimize deployment of manpower, supervisors, inspectors, materials, and equipment.
• Own scaffolding inventory and maximize utilization and commercial return.
• Oversee mobilization, execution, productivity, cost control, demobilization, and resource redeployment.
• Manage departmental P&L and improve margins, productivity, and rental returns.
• Support tendering and estimation with operational and commercial inputs.
• Develop client relationships and opportunities for rental, supply, installation, and dismantling services.
• Ensure QHSE, inspection, and scaffolding safety compliance.
• Lead and develop supervisors and frontline scaffolding teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred, while relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
• The role requires 10–15 years of relevant scaffolding operations experience.
• Applicants should have experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial construction or maintenance, or major construction projects.
• Experience managing a large scaffolding workforce and substantial inventory is required.
• Commercial and P&L management capability is required.
• Tendering, estimating, and pricing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, inspection, and rental operations is required.
• Leadership, client-management, negotiation, and hands-on field skills are required.
