Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for a construction and main contracting business in Dubai.
This senior office-based position leads technical activities across multiple construction projects and supports technically compliant, buildable, and efficient delivery.
Location and Work Type
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The position is full-time and office-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical department across multiple projects.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review and approve IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
- Coordinate technical matters with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Resolve technical issues before they affect construction, cost, or schedule.
- Ensure compliance with UAE codes, authority requirements, specifications, and contracts.
- Review design changes, technical proposals, and value engineering opportunities.
- Support constructability reviews and technical solutions.
- Establish technical procedures, workflows, and documentation standards.
- Monitor submissions, approvals, and design deliverables.
