Provide specialized financial analysis, advisory, and technical support to a Dubai Government entity.
Contribute to improved revenue generation, collection efficiency, financial performance, and compliance with government policies, regulations, and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and studies related to revenues, fees, financial claims, and collection performance.
- Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities to improve revenue generation and collection efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, laws, and government regulations.
- Prepare financial reports, statistical analyses, and recommendations for management decision-making.
- Coordinate with government entities and internal stakeholders to resolve financial claims and facilitate revenue recovery.
- Provide technical financial guidance and advisory support to departmental units.
- Support improvements to financial systems, processes, controls, and revenue-collection procedures.
- Identify financial risks, irregularities, and process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate financial training and knowledge-development activities.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Four to six years of relevant experience.
- Experience in financial analysis, revenue management, financial reporting, or government finance is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
