Position Overview

The role leads and manages all technical aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

The industry is construction and MEP.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • At least 10 years of relevant MEP experience with strong UAE experience.
  • Proven experience as an MEP Technical Manager or Senior MEP Technical Engineer on major construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and MEP systems.
  • Extensive experience with shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submittals, RFIs, design reviews, and authority approvals.
  • Ability to review and coordinate MEP designs, IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • Strong MEP coordination and clash resolution experience with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE codes, standards, authority requirements, testing and commissioning, and project handover procedures.
  • Excellent technical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Candidates must currently be available inside the UAE.
  • Immediate or short-notice joiners are preferred.

Work Location

  • The listed work location is on the road.

Compensation

  • The description states pay of AED 1 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all technical aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for construction projects.
  • Review and coordinate MEP designs, IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines and resolve clashes.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submittals, RFIs, and design reviews.
  • Coordinate technical matters with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Lead the technical team and support testing, commissioning, authority approvals, and project handover.
