- Lead high profile data center projects, managing the design and execution of advanced electrical/mechanical systems while ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices
- Strategically develop and implement innovative solutions, leveraging cutting edge technologies to address the unique needs of data centers, ensuring optimal performance in power distribution, lighting, and communication systems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem solving across multidisciplinary teams
- Represent Arup in client facing engagements, offering expert advice and insights that contribute to both project success and long term relationships
- Drive the growth and development of Arup’s electrical/mechanical engineering practice, contributing to business development, project acquisition, and shaping the strategic direction of the firm in the data center space
- Assume primary responsibility for the overall quality and execution of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and delivering on time and within budget
Requirements
- Recognized tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering within a consulting environment, with a proven track record of leadership in large scale data center projects
- Strong technical expertise in the design, development, and delivery of complex electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the strategic direction of a business
- Expertise in industry standard software and design tools relevant to Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Is this role right for you?
