Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, resilient, and sustainable IT solutions to meet business requirements
- Ensure technical integrity of solution designs and avoid duplication
- Develop and unit test complex modules in bespoke development scenarios
- Contribute to and review documentation for Functional Specifications, Interface Specifications, and Non Functional Requirements
- Prepare and review High Level and Low Level Design artifacts
- Ensure thorough testing of Non Functional Requirements and conduct QA reviews
- Conduct proactive performance tuning of production applications
- Conduct root cause analysis of reported incidents and ensure timely fixes
- Assist in developing UI/UX as per business needs
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors and customers to design and implement robust application interfaces
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job related experience
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science preferred
- Skilled in technical aspects required for Application, Data, Business, Infrastructure
- Hands on in depth knowledge on relevant foundation frameworks/tools/technology
- Good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance practices
- Ability to collaborate with customers and team members

About the Role
- As part of the IT team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering robust, scalable, and high quality technology solutions that support business objectives.
Your Duties Would Include
- Design and build scalable, resilient, and sustainable IT solutions to meet business requirements
- Ensure the technical integrity of solution designs, recognizing common technical elements to avoid duplication
- Develop and unit test complex modules in bespoke development scenarios
- Contribute to and review documentation for Functional Specifications, Interface Specifications, and Non Functional Requirements
- Prepare and review High Level and Low Level Design artifacts, ensuring adherence to QRIT Software Governance Integration (SGI) standards
- Ensure thorough testing of Non Functional Requirements (NFRs) and conduct QA reviews and unit test case reviews
- Conduct proactive performance tuning of production applications to detect and rectify slow response transactions, application errors, and query tuning
- Ensure IT technical debts related to application of assigned business are managed with plan and its proper execution
- Enforce compliance with QRIT policies when selecting solution design components
- Support the development of service level agreements and associated service guarantees
- Conduct root cause analysis of reported incidents in operational systems and ensure timely fixes
- Assist in developing the UI/UX as per business needs
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job related experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5 years without a degree
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science preferred
- Airline industry experience will be an advantage
Preferred
- Knowledgeable in DevOps and cloud services
- Previous experience with key roles played in design and performance management
- Proven track record of identifying and rolling out innovative technologies or solutions
- Ability to adopt and adapt emerging technologies
- Working knowledge of AI services and capabilities
