About the Role
Clarios is hiring a Technical Field Support Representative to support the aftermarket business across Africa from Dubai. The role involves delivering technical training, handling warranty queries, and driving sales through technical discussions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver technical trainings in various formats—from on site customer visits to larger conference style presentations
- Cover battery technologies, diagnostics, fitting instructions, and vehicle electronics systems
- Create training materials and technical documentation
- Perform product demonstrations and trials
- Manage technical and warranty queries
- Support customers in handling claims from their end users
- Guide customers through technical discussions up to sales closure
- Proactively initiate sales driven technical conversations to identify best product solutions
- Conduct targeted sales trainings
- Handle technical claims and support trade shows to strengthen market presence
Requirements
- Professional qualification in a technical, engineering (or commercial) field
- Several years of experience in a sales and/or technical role within the automotive industry
- Exposure to and cultural understanding of African markets, ideally within the automotive sector
- Solid technical background including strong technical knowledge of cars and preferably batteries
- Automotive, Commercial vehicle or Bus and Coach technical training experience
- Experience with training technologies such as webinars, social media tools
- Full Driving License and willingness to travel flexibly across a wide area
- Fluency in English and French is a must

Your contribution
- As a Technical Field Support Representative, you will support the Aftermarket business across Africa by providing hands on technical expertise and customer support.
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities: What you will do
- Guide customers through technical discussions up to sales closure, working with stakeholders from mechanics to senior managers.
- Proactively initiate sales driven technical conversations to identify the best product solutions and conduct targeted sales trainings.
- Handle technical claims and support trade shows to strengthen market presence.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: What We Look For
- Professional qualification in a technical, engineering (or commercial) field
- Several years of experience in a sales and/or technical role within the automotive industry
- Exposure to and cultural understanding of African markets, ideally within the automotive sector
- Solid technical background including strong technical knowledge of cars and preferably batteries
- Automotive, Commercial vehicle or Bus and Coach technical training experience
- Experience with training technologies such as webinars, social media tools
- Self starter, able to organize own appointments and develop technical discussions into sales opportunities
- Commercial acumen
- Full Driving License and willingness to travel flexibly across a wide area
- Fluency in English and French is a must
