Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the R&D and Product Development function across multiple product lines.
• Develop facade, aluminium, fenestration, curtain wall, and building envelope systems.
• Drive new product introduction from concept through design, testing, certification, and market launch.
• Establish product roadmaps aligned with market trends and customer requirements.
• Manage product performance, system optimization, and value-engineering initiatives.
• Oversee testing, certification, compliance, and technical approvals against international standards.
• Work with commercial, manufacturing, engineering, and executive leadership teams on strategic objectives.
• Identify emerging technologies, materials, and industry trends.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and product development teams.
• Manage R&D budgets, resources, project schedules, and innovation pipelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• MBA or an additional business qualification is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in relevant facade, aluminium, fenestration, curtain walling, glazing, or building envelope products.
• Proven leadership experience in a Technical, R&D, Engineering, Innovation, or Product Development environment.
• Strong understanding of product testing, certification, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience developing commercially successful products and systems.
• Experience managing international projects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate customer requirements into market-leading solutions.
