Role Overview
The role is for an experienced Cards System Analyst with strong credit card and debit card domain knowledge.
The analyst bridges business stakeholders and technical teams across requirements, solution design, integrations, testing, and delivery for card-related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, system flows, interface definitions, and data mappings.
- Perform impact analysis for system changes and enhancements.
- Work with development, infrastructure, architecture, security, and operations teams.
- Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing and coordinate defect resolution.
- Work with external vendors and third-party system providers.
- Prepare solution and architecture documentation.
- Align solutions with security, compliance, audit, and PCI DSS requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience with credit card or debit card systems.
- Understanding of card issuance, authorization, clearing, and settlement.
- Experience with card scheme integrations, card controls, and digital or customer servicing workflows.
- Hands-on experience with WAY4, First Vision, or similar card management systems.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Postman, and Oracle WebLogic or WebSphere.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure, including cloud-hosted applications and hybrid environments.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Technical Exposure
- PL/SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, WebLogic, WebSphere, AWS, Azure, Jira, Confluence, and Postman are listed as technical exposure areas.
Ideal Background
Candidates with banking or card-platform experience and hands-on experience with WAY4, First Vision, or similar card management systems are particularly sought.
