Job Description
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members on warehouse practices, safety, and equipment use.
- Utilize LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order fulfilment.
- Operate and instruct others on the use of RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies including daily stock reconciliation with inbound and outbound record.
- Analyse operational performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and fulfilment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Handle and resolve employee issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for management review.
