About the Role
DP World is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising technicians, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and HSE regulations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, SMATV, and Intercom
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications
- Monitor daily site activities and provide technical direction to technicians and subcontractors
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to avoid site conflicts
- Attend site progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Prepare and update daily progress reports, site logs, and red line drawings
- Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and test reports
- Carry out inspections with consultants and ensure work compliance with QA/QC standards
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and system integration
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure team compliance with HSE regulations
- Verify material deliveries and ensure compliance with approved MARs
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials on site efficiently

- Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems
- Ability to supervise technicians and subcontractors
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards and HSE regulations
- Proficiency in preparing daily progress reports and red line drawings

Key Responsibility
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, SMATV, Intercom, and related systems.

- Monitor daily site activities and provide technical direction to technicians and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to avoid site conflicts.
- Attend site progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Communicate material and manpower requirements to the project engineer/manager.
- Prepare and update daily progress reports, site logs, and red line drawings.
- Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and test reports.
- Carry out inspections with consultants and ensure work compliance with QA/QC standards.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and system integration with support of Commissioning Engineer.
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure team compliance with HSE regulations.
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
