Job Summary
Lead and coach a team of phone advisors responsible for selling Saving & Protection products.
Manage the advisory sales journey from lead assignment through policy issuance, while driving sales performance, maintaining service quality, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Job Objectives
- Drive achievement of Saving & Protection sales targets.
- Improve advisor performance through continuous coaching and performance management.
- Ensure an efficient sales journey from lead assignment to policy issuance.
- Maintain high standards of sales quality, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
Sales Performance
- Manage the full advisory sales funnel from lead assignment through policy issuance.
- Drive team sales targets, conversion rates, and premium performance.
- Ensure timely lead contact and consistent customer follow-up.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead and coach a team of 3–5 phone advisors.
- Conduct regular 1:1 sessions, live call reviews, and targeted coaching.
- Identify performance and skill gaps and develop appropriate improvement actions.
- Review lost opportunities and provide actionable feedback to improve closing rates.
Sales Effectiveness
- Develop and enhance call scripts, objection-handling guides, and product briefs.
- Support advisors in handling customer objections, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
- Share customer, product, and market feedback with relevant internal stakeholders.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure advisors follow company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Monitor sales quality and potential mis-selling risks.
- Support customer experience and persistency by addressing quality issues and complaints.
- Maintain appropriate process discipline across the team.
Reporting
- Track team performance, conversion, premium, and pipeline results.
- Provide regular performance updates and relevant market insights to management.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Licenses & Certifications
- IFCE certification is preferred.
Previous Work Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in advisory or sales roles covering investments, protection, savings, or unit-linked products.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Advisor with coaching responsibilities.
- Experience within banking, insurance, or financial services.
