Job Summary

Business Analysis and Backlog

• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and maintain the product transactional backlog.
• Ensure user stories are ready for development and understood by the development team.

Agile Delivery and Collaboration

• Collaborate with the development team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Scrum meetings as needed.
• Evaluate product progress at each iteration and clarify business requirements.

Process and Solution Analysis

• Identify issues, risks, benefits, and business impacts of existing and proposed solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve product adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate process design changes through business and systems process analysis, with a focus on quality and data management.

Documentation and UAT

• Produce feature-level analysis documentation, including business and system requirements, scope matrices, use cases, sequence diagrams, future-state proposals, and UAT plans.
• Support process documentation and re-engineering activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a relevant position.
• Experience in the insurance or financial domain is preferred.
• Fintech startup experience is highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical skills for information gathering, analysis, decision-making, and problem solving.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and focus.
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development and the Systems Development Life Cycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in process analysis, process documentation, and process re-engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong focus on continuously improving consumer experiences.
