Job Description
- Aldar Academies are currently seeking an outstanding Primary Class Teacher for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing August 2026.
- Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum school with a Lower, Middle and Senior School model located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Teaching experience in English National Curriculum
- Teaching across the age ability range with proven success
- Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum
- The ability to work under pressure, problem solve and be resilient
- Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)
- Experience of working in more than one International School desirable
Responsibilities
- To be able to teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum
- Organising the classroom, learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Providing support and interventions for students with EAL or who have additional learning needs
- Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required
- Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school by sharing best practice
- To be able to demonstrate effective use of technology through innovative and creative lesson delivery
- Taking responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of children
- Meeting the requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development using Learning Ladders
- Providing regular feedback to parents and carers on a student’s progress at Parent Teacher Conferences
- To follow the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote the TRACK Values
- Ensure that any concerns relating to behaviour & Safeguarding are accurately followed up on and logged on CPOMS
- To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events
