Requirements

- Recent and consistent involvement in extra curricular activities

Job Description
- Aldar Education is seeking a Teacher MFL (Spanish) for the 2026/2027 academic year starting in August.
- Aldar Education is the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, supporting over 38,000 students in 31 schools.

Key Tasks
- Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons meeting curriculum requirements.
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly.
- Be committed to developing positive relationships with all members of the school community.
Teaching and Learning
- Have a clear understanding of the Curriculum.
- Organise classroom provision and learning resources, creating displays for a positive learning environment.
- Reflect on classroom provision, sessions taught, and progress made, adjusting environment and planning accordingly.
- Meet with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists if required.
- Ensure the Al Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are embedded throughout the curriculum.
Assessment and Data
- Take responsibility for the progress of a class.
- Meet requirements for assessment and recording of student development using Target Tracker.
- Use data from assessments to influence further planning, provision, and intervention.
- Provide feedback to parents and carers on student progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
Behaviour Management and Duties
- Follow the school's behaviour policy.
- Manage classes effectively using approaches appropriate to students' needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.
- Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary within the school's behavioural policy.
Wider Professional Responsibilities
- Work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources, and special events linked to that team.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student achievements and well being using school systems/processes such as CPOMS as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 1 2 years Teaching experience.
