- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Job Description
- Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher Female Physical Education for Yasmina American School in Abu Dhabi to start in August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist academy in achieving its overall vision and strategic intentions.
- Comply with regulations pertaining to health and safety at work legislation.
- Comply with the academy’s Performance Management Policy.
- Engage in annual training linked to child protection, safeguarding and health and safety.
- Comply with the academy’s staff dress code at all times.
- Comply with the academy’s computer Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at all times.
- Attend all staff briefings.
- Sign out and sign in at relevant academy reception if off site at any point during the normal working day.
- Creating a climate that is conducive for outstanding Learning and Teaching.
- Identifying clear teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed.
- Setting tasks which challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
- Setting appropriate and demanding expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related field with a teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PE from KG up to Grade 8 is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of volleyball, basketball and athletics.
- Experience in delivering exams.
- Experience in coaching and leading high level sports teams.
- Previous experience working with students whom English is not their first language.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
