Role Overview

  • Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher ICT for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi to join in Academic Year 2026/2027.
  • Noya British School is part of Aldar Education and situated on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Organise classroom provision and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
  • Observe and assess children in line with school assessments.
  • Be reflective of classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjust environment, planning and curriculum to reflect this.
  • Meet with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.
  • Use data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention.
  • Provide feedback to parents and carers on a student's progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students' needs.
  • Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary within the school's behavioural policy.
  • Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour expected of pupils.

Requirements

  • Clear understanding of the British Curriculum.
  • Ability to deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed.
  • Experience in planning, preparing and presenting sessions for whole ability range.
  • Ability to motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
  • Experience in observing and assessing children in line with school assessments.
  • Ability to use data from assessments to influence planning and provision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents/carers.
  • Ability to run a weekly ECA each term.
