- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons that support outstanding student learning and academic progress
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
- Prepare students for internal assessments and IGCSE/GCSE and AS & A Level examinations
- Monitor student progress using assessment data and implement effective intervention strategies
- Establish a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning, moderation and continuous school improvement
- Build positive partnerships with parents to support student development and achievement
- Participate actively in school events, extracurricular activities and ongoing professional learning
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection and professional conduct
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed. or equivalent)
- Minimum five (5) years of full time teaching experience within a British or Cambridge International Curriculum school
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (IGCSE/GCSE)
- Native level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills
- Strong understanding of assessment, differentiation and data informed instruction
- Demonstrated ability to improve student learning outcomes and examination performance
- Confidence integrating educational technology into classroom practice
- Experience teaching AS & A Level is highly desirable
- International or UAE teaching experience is advantageous
