Responsibilities
- Manage product certification, registration, and renewal activities across GCC markets
- Coordinate with manufacturing facilities and global teams to obtain technical documentation, test reports, declarations of conformity, and supporting compliance documentation
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and testing laboratories
- Track certification expiry dates, renewal requirements, and regulatory submissions
- Support product approvals, registrations, and market access requirements
- Maintain compliance databases, trackers, and document repositories
- Coordinate product testing and certification activities with external laboratories
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on existing and future product portfolios
- Support customs clearance and import documentation requirements where applicable
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Product Management, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in product compliance, certification, product registration, or regulatory affairs
- Experience working with electrical products, power tools, consumer electronics, appliances, lighting, industrial equipment, or similar regulated products
- Strong understanding of GCC product certification requirements, including exposure to authorities such as SASO, GSO, MOIAT (formerly ESMA), SABER, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing technical documentation, test reports, and certification renewals
- Strong coordination, administration, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple certification projects simultaneously
