- Act as a point of contact for day to day queries from clients, providing professional, client focused support
- Support, mentor, and guide junior team members or interns where appropriate
Requirements
- ATT qualified or studying towards ATT/CTA exams
- At least 2 years experience in private client taxation, ideally with HNWIs or international clients
- Good understanding of UK personal tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under supervision

Role Overview
- We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our Private Client Tax team at Hoxton Tax.
- This role is ideal for someone who is ATT qualified or studying towards their final exams, and who wants to develop their career in private client taxation, working with high net worth individuals (HNWIs), internationally mobile clients, and families.
- The Tax Senior will assist with both compliance and advisory work, gain exposure to complex private client matters, and support the team in delivering high quality advice and client service.
Key Responsibilities Compliance & Technical Support
- Prepare and review UK personal tax returns for a portfolio of HNWIs and internationally mobile clients.
- Assist with capital gains, inheritance tax, and income tax calculations.
- Support more senior colleagues in complex compliance cases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to risk standards.
- Keep up to date with relevant tax legislation and developments.
Key Responsibilities Client & Team Support
- Act as a point of contact for day to day queries from clients, providing professional, client focused support.
- Assist with coordination of client communications and deadlines.
- Support, mentor, and guide junior team members or interns where appropriate.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on quality and client service.
Skills & Experience Essential
- ATT qualified or studying towards ATT/CTA exams.
- At least 2 years experience in private client taxation, ideally with HNWIs or international clients.
- Good understanding of UK personal tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under supervision.
Skills & Experience Desirable
- Exposure to global mobility or international tax matters.
- Experience using tax software or client management systems.
