Job Responsibilities
- Analyze corporate structures and evaluate alternatives to optimize tax impact.
- Recommend restructuring operations to align with the applicable tax regime.
- Conduct impact assessments to identify tax-planning opportunities.
- Advise on corporate and individual tax matters, including direct and indirect taxes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and filing obligations.
- Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and documentation.
- Support tax audits and handle queries from tax authorities.
- Monitor tax legislation changes and assess business implications.
- Support cross-border tax issues, transfer pricing, and structuring.
- Work with internal departments and external consultants as needed.
- Provide expert tax guidance and support strategic tax planning.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Tax Consultant, Tax Specialist, or Tax Manager within the UAE.
- Experience within a professional consultancy or corporate services firm is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT regulations, and FTA procedures.
- Superior analytical skills and ability to interpret tax legislation into practical client advice.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Mastery of FTA e-services portals and corporate tax filing systems, with accounting software exposure.
- Ability to work independently, manage critical statutory deadlines, and protect clients from regulatory penalties.
