About the Role

- Partner with the wider business to confirm fact patterns specific to new initiatives and assess related indirect tax implications
- Conduct technical research analysis in relation to ad hoc projects
- Assist in indirect tax audits
- Identify indirect tax opportunities and build and run models for optimisation
- Assess and manage risks appropriately, and manage tax advisor engagements
- Implement appropriate control frameworks and policies
- Oversee indirect tax filing requirements for a subset of registrations globally, with assistance from outside advisors
Requirements
- 8+ years of indirect tax experience
- Extensive technical knowledge of indirect taxes
- Proven track record in indirect tax compliance and advisory, preferably with global outreach
- Impressive analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience within a fast growing organisation in financial services or fintech
- Great Microsoft Excel skills and ability to build and run indirect tax models
