About the Role

Responsibilities
- Establish the local payments infrastructure in the market
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with local payment systems, serving as Revolut’s main point of contact
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and operational procedures
- Manage end to end payment operations, including processing, reconciliation, settlement, and issue resolution with local payment systems
- Coordinate with internal IT and other departments to resolve technical issues, support compliance needs, and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders
- Monitor payments performance, report key metrics, and identify risks, such as fraud or operational disruptions, along with recommending controls
- Stay engaged with industry forums and up to date with regulatory changes, market trends, and innovations to continuously improve expertise
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in local payment schemes
- User certifications/trainings for operations in the local payment systems
- In depth knowledge of local payments legislation
- Fluency in English
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
