Role Overview

Client Advisory and Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery of sophisticated Corporate Tax advisory, compliance, and reporting mandates.
• Serve as a technical lead on UAE Corporate Tax law and implementing decisions.
• Provide authoritative technical reviews, develop internal knowledge assets, and contribute to thought leadership on market developments.

Business Development

• Originate and convert opportunities by managing pipelines, crafting proposals, pricing engagements, and presenting to C-suite leaders and boards.
• Cultivate relationships with key accounts, intermediaries, and free zone authorities and represent the firm at industry events and seminars.
• Collaborate across legal, deals, consulting, and assurance service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

People Leadership and Operations

• Lead, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates through continuous feedback and structured career development.
• Allocate resources to balance client needs, team wellbeing, and commercial outcomes.
• Uphold risk and independence policies, manage engagement economics and working capital, and ensure quality documentation and deliverables.
• Contribute to methodology enhancements, digital enablement, and data-driven delivery.

Professional Experience

• 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Tax within a Big Four or leading international firm.
• Experience leading complex advisory projects, managing multi-jurisdictional compliance, and navigating tax authority interactions.
• Expert Corporate Tax knowledge and experience are required.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax law and implementing decisions, Tax Accounting, and double tax treaties is advantageous.

Education and Credentials

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline is required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• A recognised professional qualification such as Attorney, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CTA, ADIT, or LLM in Tax is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required and Arabic is advantageous.

Leadership, Commercial, and Technology Skills

• The role requires team leadership, stakeholder management, high-quality delivery under tight timelines, business development, pipeline management, proposal development, solution selling, and clear communication with senior executives and boards.
• The role requires proficiency with MS Office and tax compliance platforms, plus familiarity with data extraction, transformation, AI, automation, and analytics.
