Responsibilities
- Manage monthly VAT compliance processes in house, ensuring timely and accurate filings
- Oversee annual Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance in coordination with external advisors
- Support Transfer Pricing (TP) compliance activities in collaboration with external consultants
- Work closely with accounting, finance, and global tax teams on tax related accounting entries and reporting matters
- Provide support and guidance to local accounting, finance, tendering, and other business units on tax implications of various transactions
- Handle communication with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) for queries, tax audits, ESR audits, and other regulatory matters
- Coordinate with international teams and external advisors on tax matters related to foreign branches of UAE entities
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on UAE taxation
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing regulations in the UAE
- Experience liaising with regulatory authorities such as the FTA
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders

Purpose
- Part of accounting team, reporting to Gulf CAO; working closely with accounting team and other internal (finance, global tax, etc.) and external stakeholders (external tax advisors, FTA, etc.) when needed.
