Responsibilities
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of centralized LPG systems
- Manage work orders through Maximo and ensure timely issue resolution
- Conduct site inspections to verify maintenance quality and system integrity
- Coordinate emergency gas supply requirements and contractor activities
- Review technical drawings and support Civil Defense approvals
- Conduct inspections, commissioning, and system handovers
- Ensure compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA standards, and safety regulations
- Investigate system failures and prepare root cause analysis reports
- Prepare scopes of work, tender documentation, and AMC contracts
- Evaluate contractors and vendors, including technical and commercial assessments
- Support sales teams with technical submissions and cost estimates
- Serve as main point of contact for maintenance and technical support
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in LPG systems, installations, or LPG plant operations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of UAE LPG regulations, UAE Fire Code, NFPA standards, and Civil Defense requirements
- Civil Defense certification/card is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Proficiency in Maximo, and ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
