- Install, assemble, maintain, and replace tandem mill stands, guides, and related rolling mill equipment
- Perform guide setting, alignment, and changeovers to ensure smooth rolling operations
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on mill stands and guide systems
- Inspect rolling equipment for wear and recommend repairs or replacements
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Tandem Mill Stand & Guide Fitter in a steel rolling mill
- Strong knowledge of mill stand assembly, guide setting, alignment, and rolling mill maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and support continuous production
- Diploma in relevant field
- Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice preferred
