Overview

  • Looking for a motivated and dedicated Training Engineer to support the development of a highly skilled and professional workforce, based in Sharjah.
  • Successful candidate will be responsible for managing training activities, coordinating with various plant departments, maintaining training documentation, and supporting the implementation of employee development programs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the power generation industry.
  • Knowledge of modern combined cycle power plants is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with strong discipline and confidentiality.
  • Ability to create an environment of open communication and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs across departments, maintain training records, and support the development of the plant wide training plan.
  • Assist in preparing the overall training budget and coordinate external training programs.
  • Develop in house talent and optimize training resources to improve workforce capabilities.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure effective implementation of training initiatives.
  • Deliver induction training for new employees to support their integration and development.
  • Support the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of employee qualification programs.
  • Conduct or assist with competency assessments and provide monthly progress reports on training and qualification activities.
  • Support the HR Manager in executing overall training and development programs.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, project agreements, and applicable legal requirements.
