AccorHotel is seeking a Tailor to mend uniforms, room & F&B linen, and guest laundry at a hotel in Dubai. Responsibilities include repairing guest clothes, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring work quality.

Responsibilities
- Mend all uniforms, room & F&B linen, and guest laundry of the Hotel
- Repair guest clothes on request and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain sufficient stock level of materials needed
- Keep work area clean and organised
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of sewing machine
- Assist the linen room by issuing uniforms to staff
- Test material and place uniform request forms in proper files
- Attend to guest laundry requiring simple mending immediately
- Report lost uniforms and abuse to supervisor
- Communicate shift information to next shift
- Inform supervisor of any defect or damage of furniture or equipment
- Separate linen, uniforms and curtains to be condemned from those to be repaired
Requirements
- Experience in mending uniforms, linen, and guest laundry
- Ability to operate sewing machine
- Good organizational skills

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for mending all uniforms, room & F&B linen, guest laundry of the Hotel
- Ensure the work quality up to standard
- Repairs guest clothes on request and to ensure the clothes are delivered back to the guest on time
- Maintains sufficient stock level of materials needed
- Keeps work area clean and organised
- Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of sewing machine
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the Superior
- Assist the linen room by issuing uniforms to staff
- Upon receiving the uniform request issue from HR Dept, give the new employee his proper uniform and explain the exchange policy
- Test material. Place the uniform request form in a proper file according to the Dept Heading.
- Guest laundry which requires simple mending attends to it immediately (sewing of buttons, seams)
- In the event of a lost uniform, employee must get a new issue form from HR Dept.
