Responsibilities
- Perform alterations, repairs, and tailoring of associates' uniforms and hotel linen items.
- Measure, fit, and alter garments according to requirements.
- Repair torn, damaged, or worn uniforms and textile items in a timely manner.
- Operate sewing machines, pressing equipment, and tailoring tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of uniforms to ensure quality and presentation standards are maintained.
- Maintain inventory of tailoring supplies and report replenishment needs.
- Support the housekeeping and laundry teams as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tailor, Seamstress, or Alteration Specialist, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric types
- Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

- Follow all health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures.
- Support the housekeeping and laundry teams as required.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tailor, Seamstress, or Alteration Specialist, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric types.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining high standards.
