About the Job

  • We are seeking a highly organized, operations focused Synthetic Character Operations Lead to oversee the deployment, management, optimization, and day to day operations of AI powered characters, digital humans, virtual personalities, and synthetic agents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational planning and execution for synthetic characters, digital humans, and AI powered personas across multiple products and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain operational frameworks, workflows, governance standards, and deployment processes for synthetic character ecosystems.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams including AI engineers, conversation designers, content creators, character developers, and product stakeholders.
  • Oversee character launches, updates, maintenance cycles, quality assurance processes, and performance monitoring activities.
  • Establish operational metrics and reporting systems to evaluate character performance, engagement, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage character documentation, behavioral standards, personality guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure service continuity and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to AI characters, digital humans, conversational AI, and synthetic media.
  • Manage project schedules, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support strategic initiatives, public demonstrations, workshops, partnerships, and business development activities related to synthetic character operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/MA in Business Administration, Operations Management, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Digital Media, Product Management, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in operations management, program management, AI products, digital platforms, gaming, interactive experiences, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of AI powered products, digital humans, conversational systems, and operational excellence principles.
  • Experience managing cross functional projects involving technical, creative, and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of large language models, conversational AI platforms, virtual assistants, digital characters, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and manage complex operational environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience using project management, reporting, and workflow optimization tools.
  • Portfolio or track record demonstrating successful leadership of operational programs, product initiatives, or technology driven projects.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
