Lead procurement and supply chain activities for emergency services and other operational projects.
Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, and logistics.
Ensure timely and cost-effective supply of goods, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, purchasing, and logistics activities.
- Manage RFQs, RFPs, tenders, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
- Source PPE, firefighting and rescue equipment, vehicles, specialist tools, spare parts, and operational supplies.
- Manage local and international supplier and service-provider relationships.
- Manage supplier agreements, performance, lead times, and supply continuity.
- Support project mobilisation and the timely availability of critical equipment and services.
- Support bids and projects with quotations, cost inputs, and lead-time validation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supply chain risks.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, including at least three years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, technical procurement, and project mobilisation.
- UAE or GCC experience managing local and international suppliers and procuring technical equipment and services.
- Experience in emergency services, fire and rescue, defence, oil and gas, industrial services, or government contracting is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or an equivalent field.
- CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP certification is advantageous.
