Role Overview
Rakbank is seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to join its Credit Collections team.
The role supports customer outcomes and the bank's risk management objectives.
The position is part of the bank's Emiratisation agenda and is exclusively open to UAE Nationals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and recover delinquent accounts against agreed collection and recovery targets.
- Monitor early warning indicators and support proactive risk mitigation.
- Engage customers through approved channels to regularize accounts and minimize delinquency.
- Manage an allocated portfolio while maintaining productivity, quality, and service standards.
- Resolve customer queries and escalate complex matters appropriately.
- Support process improvement and operational excellence within Collections.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve customer and team objectives.
Requirements
- UAE National status and a Family Book are required.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least one year of collections, recovery, banking, or related customer service experience is required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are required.
- The ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities is required.
- Understanding of collections, customer engagement, and financial concepts is advantageous.
