Lead supply and procurement activities aligned with organizational objectives.
Support water and wastewater projects through timely sourcing and delivery of required materials, equipment, and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Source materials, equipment, and services for water and wastewater projects.
- Manage RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Identify and qualify suppliers for pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, dosing, filtration, membrane, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure procurement and delivery support project schedules.
- Maintain strategic supplier and contractor relationships.
- Evaluate suppliers on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contractual agreements.
- Develop supplier performance KPIs and conduct periodic reviews.
- Resolve supplier disputes and contractual issues.
Requirements
- Ability to manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract management.
- Knowledge of procurement for water and wastewater project materials, equipment, and services.
- Ability to evaluate and manage suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Ability to negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contractual agreements.
