Job Summary
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs at project sites.
Prevent workplace incidents, promote a safe working culture, and minimize environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure corrective actions.
- Monitor HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and statutory compliance.
- Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
- Monitor PPE use, safe work practices, waste, pollution, and resource conservation.
- Maintain HSE documentation and coordinate emergency response drills.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on EHS matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is described inconsistently as mandatory and preferred.
- IOSH, OSHA, or First Aid certifications are advantageous.
