Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor security logs, detect anomalies, and respond swiftly to potential incidents.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge, keeping them updated with the latest tools and techniques.
• Maintain open communication with senior management, providing regular updates on security status and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is essential.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in network security, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems is a must.
• Experience with SIEM tools is highly preferred, demonstrating practical knowledge of security event management.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are advantageous, showcasing a commitment to professional development.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Analytical mindset, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to cybersecurity challenges.
