About the Role

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, perform preventive maintenance, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment
- Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc.
- Identify, locate, and use all shut off valves
- Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed; maintain inventory and purchase order log
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery
- Operate forklift
- Complete safety checklist including fire pump and generator operation checks
- Inspect fire hydrants and alarm systems
- Assist in developing disaster response protocols
- Respond to and fulfill guest repair requests
- Assist management in hiring, training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
Requirements
- Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kg without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs and service ramps

Job Summary
- Install, maintain, perform preventive maintenance, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
- Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc.
- Identify, locate, and use all shut off valves.
- Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed; maintain inventory and purchase order log.
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
- Enter and locate work related information using computers.
- Operate forklift.
- Complete safety checklist including fire pump and generator operation checks.
- Inspect fire hydrants and alarm systems.
- Assist in developing disaster response protocols.
- Respond to and fulfill guest repair requests.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Assist management in hiring, training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Set schedules and remind employees of discipline rules.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, hazardous conditions, accidents, and injuries.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs.
- Develop positive working relationships with peers; listen and respond appropriately to concerns.
- Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards; identify and implement new ways to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost savings.
Physical Requirements
- Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kg without assistance.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Climb stairs and service ramps.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Recommended Qualifications
- Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None.
