Responsibilities
- Perform system engineering, FAT, SAT, site commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing for substation automation projects
- Work on site for more than 50% of the year, including frequent international travel for commissioning and validation
Requirements
- 2–8 years of experience in Power Utility, Oil & Gas, or Data Center projects
- Strong hands on experience with SCADA platforms: Schneider EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO/PSO)
- Experience with PLCs: Schneider Quantum, M340, M580, Siemens S7
- Experience with Substation Automation Systems (SAS)
- Experience with Load Shedding, Load Sharing, and Power Management Systems (PMS)
- Experience with IEC 61850 based Digital Substations
- Experience in System Engineering, FAT, SAT, Site Commissioning, Troubleshooting, and Testing
- Knowledge of IEC 61850, IEC 60870 5 104, Modbus, OPC, PRP/HSR/RSTP/VLAN architectures
- Experience with Hirschmann or Siemens Industrial Switches
- Experience with IEDs, Protection Relays, RTUs, Energy Meters
- Comfortable working on site for more than 50% of the year
- Frequent international travel for commissioning and validation activities
