Responsibilities
- Supervise drilling fluids and cementing operations at the rig site to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Optimize drilling fluid and cement programs while minimizing non productive time (NPT) and operational costs
- Monitor chemical inventory, equipment, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Review, validate, and analyze drilling fluids and cementing data and operational reports
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, industry standards, and operational procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential operational issues, and recommend practical solutions
- Monitor contractor performance and promote strong safety culture and operational excellence
- Lead safety meetings, support HSE initiatives, and participate in audits, inspections, and incident prevention programs
- Collaborate closely with offshore drilling teams, mud engineers, and service providers to achieve drilling objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling fluids, cementing, or drilling operations within the oil & gas industry
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling fluids, cementing operations, and wellsite chemistry
- Experience working on offshore drilling or workover operations
- Good understanding of HSE management systems and industry best practices
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in multicultural teams
- Fluent in English

Job Purpose
- Support offshore drilling and completion operations by supervising drilling fluids and cementing activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost effective execution.
- The role is responsible for maintaining high HSE standards, optimizing fluid and cement performance, managing contractor activities, and ensuring operational readiness throughout the drilling campaign.
Key Responsibilities
