About The Role

  • Our Customer Support team is the first point of contact for millions around the world, delivering fast, thoughtful help.
  • We’re looking for a detail oriented, data driven Subject Matter Expert to own invoicing and payments for our Shops merchants.
  • You’ll sit at the intersection of Operations, Finance, and Support and run monthly revenue reports, issue invoices, share transaction reports with merchants, and track payments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing monthly revenue reporting and invoicing workflows for Shops merchants
  • Ensuring data integrity by reconciling revenue across internal finance and product systems
  • Executing the issuance of accurate invoices based on specific merchant commercial terms
  • Distributing comprehensive transaction reports to provide merchants with clear financial insights
  • Leading communication as the main point of contact for billing and payment inquiries
  • Handling the investigation and resolution of billing discrepancies or merchant disputes
  • Maintaining a pulse on payment status and following up on any overdue accounts
  • Leveraging SQL and data tools to analyse transaction sets and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Driving process improvements for invoicing, workflows, documentation, and team training
  • Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Finance to solve root causes and improve outcomes

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in merchant support, preferably in a fintech or marketing environment
  • Impressive analytical skills and confidence working with data, including Google Sheets/MS Excel and SQL
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross functionally
  • The ability to manage multiple merchants, deadlines, and follow ups simultaneously

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B or merchant facing environments (e.g., ecommerce, fintech, SaaS, marketplaces)
  • Expertise in invoicing, payments, or collections workflows
