Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Structural / Site Civil Engineer for residential projects in Dubai.
The role requires at least six years of direct hands-on construction experience in the UAE.
The engineer will lead site execution, structural supervision, authority compliance, workforce productivity, quality, safety, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily civil and structural operations across residential and commercial developments.
- Oversee deep foundations, shuttering and formwork, rebar placement, mass concrete pours, and blockwork or masonry.
- Interpret structural blueprints, prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules, and resolve site discrepancies.
- Raise Work Inspection Requests, lead consultant walkthroughs, and secure Dubai Municipality and local authority approvals.
- Supervise foremen and trade gangs while enforcing production targets and material wastage controls.
- Implement QA/QC protocols, concrete cube testing, pour card sign-offs, structural tolerance checks, and HSE compliance.
- Maintain daily logs, look-ahead schedules, joint measurement records, and executed quantity records for valuations and variation claims.
