Role Overview
The employer is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its finance team.
The role covers daily accounting functions, including payables, receivables, general ledgers, filings, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support.
Prior accounting experience from the candidate’s home country will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor invoices, client billings, payment receipts, and follow-ups for accounts payable and receivable.
- Record daily financial transactions, post journal entries, and maintain accurate basic general ledgers.
- Assist with internal audits, maintain audit trails, and support compliance with internal accounting standards.
- Organize physical and digital accounting files, invoices, receipts, and financial records.
- Support monthly reconciliations and standard financial reports prepared by the senior accounting team.
Key Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as a General Accountant is required.
- Practical knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, accounts filing, and basic internal audit principles is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- The role seeks proactive, enthusiastic, quick-learning candidates with strong attention to detail.
