- Read and interpret structural steel fabrication drawings and shop drawings
- Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel members according to approved drawings
- Fabricate steel structures including beams, columns, trusses, staircases, platforms, handrails, ladders, canopies, and miscellaneous steel works
- Perform fit up activities and prepare components for welding
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, drilling machines, magnetic drills, and gas cutting equipment
- Ensure dimensions, alignment, and tolerances are maintained as per project specifications
- Coordinate with welders, foremen, and supervisors to achieve production targets
- Identify material shortages and report them to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Follow company quality standards and HSE requirements at all times
- Assist in loading, unloading, and movement of fabricated materials when required
