- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans
- Monitor fabrication, procurement, delivery, and site erection progress
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Track project milestones and identify schedule deviations
- Perform delay analysis and recommend recovery plans
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Production, and QA/QC teams
- Generate S Curves, Histograms, Cash Flow, and Progress Dashboards
Requirements
- Experience in project controls and planning for structural steel or industrial construction
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, WBS, and progress monitoring
- Ability to perform delay analysis and recommend recovery plans
- Experience with S Curves, Histograms, Cash Flow, and Progress Dashboards

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Project Controls & Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules while ensuring timely execution of structural steel and industrial construction projects.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and project controls using Primavera P6.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans.
- Monitor fabrication, procurement, delivery, and site erection progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Track project milestones and identify schedule deviations.
- Perform delay analysis and recommend recovery plans.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Production, and QA/QC teams.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
- Prepare look ahead schedules (2 week, 4 week, and monthly).
- Generate S Curves, Histograms, Cash Flow, and Progress Dashboards.
- Review subcontractor schedules and monitor performance.
- Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay documentation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Prepare client presentations and progress updates.
- Support tender planning and project scheduling during the bidding stage.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and planning records.
