Design Engineer Structure – EDRC (PAF) supporting BIAL-related public-space and airport projects.
The role is associated with Bhogapuram Site and EDRC headquarters.
The posting states a required experience range of 7 to 15 years.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities
- Design steel and reinforced-concrete structures from concept design through detailed design and construction details.
- Prepare structural specifications and quantity estimates.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and resolve interdisciplinary design issues.
- Deliver drawings and construction documents accurately and on time for construction.
- Ensure compliance with statutory rules, relevant codes, and standards.
Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of Indian and international codes and standards and the detailed design engineering process.
- Understanding of construction methods, drawing cognition, and geographical design.
- Knowledge of material requirements, specifications management, and quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of ETABS, STAAD, and SAFE is required.
Additional Competencies
