The Site Engineer - Fire Protection Systems is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing fire protection system installation activities.

Minimum Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering is required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong technical, planning, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of fire control systems, fire detection, and fire protection engineering is required.
- The role requires knowledge of hydraulic principles, testing and commissioning procedures, and relevant fire protection standards.
- Relevant standards include NFPA, FM Global, UL, LPCB, and local fire authority regulations.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute fire protection system installation activities.
- Manage sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, firefighting piping, clean agent, foam, and water mist systems.
- Review shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, method statements, material submittals, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, resources, inspections, installation quality, and technical issue resolution.
Testing and Documentation
- Coordinate hydrostatic testing, flushing, pump performance testing, integrated system testing, and acceptance inspections.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain inspection and testing records.
- Support authority inspections and assist with project handover documentation.
Preferred Project Experience
- Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial building, healthcare, infrastructure, or mission-critical facility projects is preferred.
