About the Role
Cisco is hiring a Strategy & Planning Manager to join its sales organization, focusing on protecting and growing recurring software revenue. The role spans the full strategy-to-execution lifecycle, including identifying growth opportunities, shaping executive decisions, and designing programs.

- Synthesize complex information into concise, decision oriented narratives for senior executives
- Drive cross functional program outcomes across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations

- Strong capabilities in Excel modeling, scenario analysis, KPI development, and business performance analysis
- Understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, subscription, renewals, and customer retention

- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations
- Exposure to B2B enterprise hardware & software, SaaS, or platform business models preferred

Your Impact
- Strategic planning and business operations: Ability to structure ambiguous business problems, develop strategic plans, and lead initiatives from opportunity identification through execution and measurement.
- Data driven analysis: Strong capabilities in Excel modeling, scenario analysis, KPI development, business performance analysis, and translating data into actionable insights.
- Recurring revenue business acumen: Understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, subscription, renewals, customer retention, and attrition drivers.
- Executive communication and storytelling: Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, decision oriented narratives for senior executives.
- Cross functional program leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations in a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to B2B enterprise hardware & software, SaaS, or platform business models.
- Experience in supporting development of Long Range and Annual Strategic growth plans.
- Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and visual (PowerPoint decks, storytelling, data synthesis).
- Experience in framing & structuring business problems, prioritizing efforts, conducting complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Fact based and hands on with data and analysis; able to independently lead Excel modeling, scenario analysis, and KPI development.
- Solid understanding of business intelligence (BI) tools and SQL a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
